RYAN CARTER
Chosen by Coach Troy Calhoun

Ryan Carter is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in Astronautical Engineering. Some of his honors include Distinguished Graduate, 2 time Academic All-American Football player, and his senior year he achieved Honorable Mention All Conference D-End, USAFA Lineman of the Year, and Captain of the football team. He was on the academy’s FCA leadership team for 7 semesters, and served as the huddle leader for 3 semesters. Ryan joined the FCA Colorado Staff in 2007 and is serving as the Colorado Springs Area Representative.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys dwelling in the presence of his God, hanging out with his wife, Valerie, snowboarding, business, hiking in the Rocky’s, and living life on purpose. Ryan and Valerie live in Castle Rock and they attend Grace Place International church in Aurora.

THE DEVLIN FAMILY

The Devlin Family and Wray Plumbing & Heating, Co. have been in business since 1949. Don moved the family and business from Wray, Colorado, to Fort Collins in 1955. Don, his six sons, and grandsons, have spent the last 56 years designing and building Mechanical Systems in Northern Colorado, Fort Collins and more specifically, at Colorado State University.

The family is proud to have contributed to the growth and success of Fort Collins from a small community of 25,000 to America’s “#1 Place to Live” and to Colorado State University’s growth from a small local college, to a nationally recognized university.

Through the years the Devlin’s have been affiliated with numerous charities and programs, most notably at Colorado State University and are original “Legacy Club Members”

“PASTA” JAY ELOWSKY

After a year stint at C.U. in Boulder, Jay decided the pasta business was where his heart was. So Jay returned to Sonny’s to cook for six more years in order to learn the family recipes that had been passed down to him by his mother, ‘MaMa Genovese’,whose grandmother was the cook for the first King of the United Countries of Italy, Victor Emanuelle the Second.

In September of 1988 Jay’s Mom (Jean) and Dad (Lowell) and Jay opened up PASTA JAY’S in Boulder at 9th and Pearl. Generations later he continues to use family recipes to create “food fit for a king.” Jay also has another successful Pasta Jay’s Restaurant in Moab, Utah that he opened nineteen years ago. In Spring of 2009 one more Pasta Jay opened doors in Lonetree, Colorado. The restaurants’ menu consist of Italian family recipes.

Jay Elowsky is a huge supporter of Colorado University (including all sports programs) along with schools, organizations and the community around him.

BOB TOINTON
Chosen by Coach Earnest Collins, Jr.

Mr. Tointon is President of Phelps-Tointon Inc. which owns and operates Rocky Mountain Prestress, Inc. and Southern Folger Detention Equipment Company and invests in real estate. Rocky Mountain Prestress, located in Denver, supplies architectural and structural precast in the Colorado and Hawaiian markets; Southern Folger Detention Equipment Company is based in San Antonio, Texas and manufactures and installs detention equipment internationally.

Mr. Tointon was with Hensel Phelps Construction Co. from 1963 through 1989. He was President and CEO of Hensel Phelps Construction Co. from 1975 to 1989. In 1989 Hensel Phelps Construction Co. was divided whereby Phelps-Tointon, Inc. was formed by Bob Tointon and Joe Phelps while 200 employee shareholders retained ownership of the general contracting business.
